After several holidays here we fell in love with Galicia, and 3 years ago, decided to move here with our 2 children, and dogs.
In those days Galicia wasn't easy to reach, with only chartered flights or long ferry crossings, it wasn't cheap either.
Since then Galicia has become much more accessible with budget flights with Ryanair, Easy Jet and Vueling, you can leave home in the morning and be eating tapas by lunchtime!
Tourism in Galicia, unlike the rest of Spain, is relatively new, so be sure to bring your phrase book, but to the Spanish it has been a very well kept secret, with beautiful beaches, historic towns and wonderful green countryside, it´s no wonder that this is where the Spanish choose to spend their holidays.
