Os Salgueiros (the willows in Galician) is a lovely stone country cottage situated in an oasis of green.
Placed at the end of a lane, at the the foot of the forest of Mount Covelo, surrounded only by vines, with views of the sea, this is the perfect holiday hide away.
The cottage gives you the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere, yet is only minutes from the village of Samieira with bars and a shop, Combarro is 5 mins,
Raxó 10 mins, Sanxenxo 15 mins and the wonderful city of Pontevedra 15 mins.
There are two lovely beaches within walking distance, (although it's a steep climb home and you may prefer to take the car). The forest comes right down to he back garden and a stroll in early morning or evening is not to be missed, there are also many paths that climb the mountain and offer views of the Ria De Pontevedra and the Atlantic Ocean at its most beautiful, if you are a serious walker there are miles to explore.
The cottage has a farmhouse kitchen, lounge, conseravatory, three bedrooms (sleeps 6),
and 2 bathrooms, a lovely garden and bbq area.
It is only available on a self catering basis from the last 2 weeks of June until the end of September.

Os Carballos (the Oaks in Galician) is a newly constructed wooden cabin, situated in the same secluded green bowl as Os Salgueiros. Sitting at the very edge of the forest this cabin is a nature lovers paradise. Set amongst grape vines and surrounded by oaks it lays in its very own meadow.
Once again the cabin gives you the feeling of being in the middle of no where, yet is only minutes from the same villages and beaches as the cottage.
The cabin has a kitchen, lounge and 2 bedrooms (sleeps 4, ideal for a family of 2 adults and 2 children), the meadow has a terraced area and bbq.
It is available on a self catering basis throughout the year and makes for a really affordable way to explore and relax in this wonderful seaside area of Galicia.
