Meis golf course is situated only 2 minutes from all of our accomodation
on Mounte Castrove, and enjoys amazing views of the Rias Arousa
and Pontevedra, and is only 20 minutes from all our other listed accommodation.
Set amongst the tranquil pine forests that cap the top of the mountain,
this championship course (that last year hosted the European Ladies
Team Championship) is a fantastic venue to play. The tree lined fairways
have many natural hazards as well as lakes and bunkers, making this a
tough but rewarding 18 holes.
Because you are in Galicia there is no starting your rounds a 5am to
avoid the searing heat of the south and none of the queues either,
just perfect hot sunny days through the summer and mild for the rest
of the year.
We will be happy to book a round for you if required (twist my arm
and I may even join you!) When you are
done, relax in the club house and enjoy a glass of Albarino wine while soaking up the amazing views.
