Lovely apartment beautiful area

My boyfriend and I visited Galicia for the first time last month and absolutely loved the area. We flew to Santiago (stunning city) where we spent a couple of days and then drove down to nearby Pontevedra for a very nice week exploring the area and relaxing. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable with fantastic views of the bay. Sally and John were very welcoming and gave us some good tips for places to visit. These were particularly helpful for the couple of bad weather days we had when we explored inland and tried our hands at karting. The local beaches are wonderful but we particularly liked Tui on Portuguse border and town of Baiona where you can get a boat to the beautiful island of Cies - a must do! The local resuatuants are excellent, lots of very fresh and delicious seafood to try.
Thanks very much Sally, John and of course Esther. We had a fab stay and will definitely be visiting Galicia again!

A perfect spot to get away

My friend and I accidently came upon this property and couldn't have been more happy with our stay. The apartment is simple yet comfortable with stunning views over the water. Most afternoons you could watch the dolphins swimming in the bay, not to mention a short stroll to the cafes that lined the quaint beach which was at your doorstep. John and Sally were able to offer local tips that lead to day trips in and around the apartment. I couldn't speak more highly of their hospitality and I strongly recommend this apartment for any couple with a small sized family wanting to get away to experience a truely special part of Spain.

Very nice appartement

We stayed there for 10 days over new year 2009/2010. The appartement is very spacy, fully equipped with complete kitchen two bedrooms two bathrooms, washmachine and two terraces and nice situated with a breathtaking view over the ria de pontevedra. There is a 5 minute walk to a beach just below the appartement but we can recommend more the area in the north with many long and beautiful beaches 20 min by car away. Above all you need a car to stay there and enjoy the opportunities to go to Pontevedra, Santiago di compostela, the area at the portuguese border and Finisterra (the end of the world) all less then one our by car away from the appartement. In the closer area there are bakerys, reaturants, and supermarkets and Pontevedra ist just a 10 min. drive away from the apparttement with all you can imagine from a nice spanish town (nice old town and big shopping area). The food (espacilly the fish food) in the restaurats is excellent. We had good experiences to eat in restaurants in the small harbours where the locals eat. It seems to be very simple but the fishh food was always excellent. Most impressing of our holiday have been the coastel nature with the beaches, the impressing old towns, the excellent and cheap food (buy fish at the fish market at pontevedra an prepare at home - its unbelieveabel) the friendly owner of the appartement, the friendly local people and the very helpful and heartful hospitality of Sally and John Wills. They helped us a lot, giving us best informations of the area and helped us through all small problems that could appear if you are on holiday. So again many thanks Sally and John - we will come back!!
